There are many dream homes in Santa Barbara, but this one is pretty special! Design team Jim Rickard and Jenn Wood have transformed a run down Riviera home into a stunning oasis using as many environmentally friendly materials they could find. After months of working on this project Jenn visited Upstairs to add the finishing touches. From Missoni blankets to Dosa bolster pillows for the patio, she filled the house with the best product from Upstairs.

They are irresistibly romantic and have rustic European chic. Though the white stone wear is lavish in its detailing, the hand applied patina results in a look of understated elegance. The specialty designs can stand the test of everyday use and practicality while the vitrified ceramic goes directly from freezer to oven, and is microwave and dishwasher safe.

Upstairs is pleased to have added Calleen Cordero leather designs to the store. Calleen’s hand made leather designs are made in Los Angeles at her private factory with leather from around the world. Her rock and roll flare is stbtle, but don’t expect anything to be free of decorative studded detail. We just received key chains, clutches, hip packs and handbags.

John Derian decoupage has become increasingly popular since starting his unique art in 1989. John is an avid collector of unique antique fruit, flower and animal prints as well as centuries old legdgers and letters. It is from these rare findings that he creates his stunning home accents.
If you are not familiar with decoupage art, it’s a form of collage that incorporates cutting and gluing paper images onto surfaces that are pieced together in layers under glass. Upstairs at Pierre Lafond has a wide assortment of trays, plates, paper weights, and platters.
