Global Eye Photography: Destination Greece, Volume 3

Summer is here and it’s time to travel. Our friends at Global Eye Photography agreed to take some of our merchandise on a trip to Greece and give us a report. Here’s what they had to say about adventuring with our gear:

Product: Earthlust Stainless Steel Water bottle

We arrived at the Meteora in a rainstorm; huge drops came splattering down as lightening cracked. Legend has it that these monasteries were built using rocks flown up on the backs of eagles in the 12th century.

Finally sun broke out for us and we visited six still functioning monasteries perched on sheer cliffs. Each of the monasteries has hundreds – thousands? – of steps up to them which continue on to different levels. Throngs of tourists on buses made their way up the mountain passes and descended like a plague on the monasteries, huffing and puffing up all the steps.

I remembered to pack my water bottle and proceeded to breeze past the tourists. As the day became brighter, the temperature soared. I was able to keep refilling my water bottle along the way thanks to the water fountains. It’s hard to think of what life might have been like here with out our modern conveniences. – Kristen Cramer, Global Eye Photography
