Autumn is a busy time for us Upstairs as we’re receiving new merchandise daily to stock up for winter months but one glimpse of this bedding makes us want to slow down, dive right in and snuggle down between layers of pillows in cotton, linen and duponi silk from India. Both of these are just what a bedroom should be  – a sanctuary, an oasis. Sweet dreams!

Bedroom Nirvana

Hand stitching, block printing and soft, swirling colors of creams, ivory, oatmeal and gold create a dreamy bedroom which you have to come in and see to appreciate! It’s topped off with the softest baby alpaca throw with pom poms, pendant lights, custom wood side tables by Catherine Greenup and tufted linen poufs in beige (also in navy). The “Woman and Dog by the Sea” painting is by South African Karen Bezuidenhout.

Loads of texture is created by layers of cushions in cottons and silk, with soft quilts and throws from India. At the foot of the bed is a tufted linen chaise lounge and a striped, reversible Moroccan rug. Also glass and leather pendant lights, Catherine Greenup custom side tables with glass cluster lights and elephant painting by Karen Bezuidenhout.
