John Derian decoupage has become increasingly popular since starting his unique art in 1989. John is an avid collector of unique antique fruit, flower and animal prints as well as centuries old legdgers and letters. It is from these rare findings that he creates his stunning home accents.
If you are not familiar with decoupage art, it’s a form of collage that incorporates cutting and gluing paper images onto surfaces that are pieced together in layers under glass. Upstairs at Pierre Lafond has a wide assortment of trays, plates, paper weights, and platters.

January is one of my favorite months to decorate my home “nest.” As we settle in for the winter months I love grabbing the cashmere throws from the linen closet, lighting the candles and snuggling up on the couch with a cup of tea and flipping through a great coffee table book.
